Patients Reviews

Linda's nurse is spastic. She asks a question and before you can answer she answers for you then discounts what you say as unimportant. Then when Linda when comes in, if you make a suggestion she acts like you are an idiot and talks down to you. I've gotten to the point I don't get the care I need and just get labs and shut up . I've got 100% coverage on everything and yet I can't get the care I need. I asked for migraine medicine one month and she gave me a script for 6 pills. The next month I asked for a refill and she jumped down my throat and screamed at me that I can't take these every day. How do I take 6 pills and take one every day for 2 months. I need a real actual doctor!

I loved how Pamela not only examined me thoroughly but she also listened to me. I think that’s so important. I didn’t have to wait a long time. And I thought Pamela was super fantastic!

Edith Steele always goes out of her way to care for us. She listens to anything I have to say and that makes a difference. They work her too hard .

Gamini Wiyathunge, FNP-C, took the time to listen to my concerns regarding two possible insect bites on my back without rushing me. He reviewed the notes from my last visit and said we need to make sure that your are able to have the tools to protect yourself from ticks. He told me that given the fact that blacklegged ticks, are associated with the spread of Lyme disease and can be found in wooded areas. In addition, he mentioned the female Lone star tick are active this time of the and (harmful to humans), and Rocky Mountain spotted fever tick is active all year in wooded areas. I live in wooded area. So, he prescribed medicine, OTC cream and probiotics and to told me to stay out of the sun and to wear hat and long sleeves when outside. To eat food to avoid an upset stomach. He is a very compassionate and listens to his patient. I recommed him to anyone that need Urgent Care in Cookeville.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile. Minimal waiting time and all our questions were answered. Did not feel like a number just being processed - we were treated very well. Highly recommend.
